MONCTON – Station Yards, a master-planned community in the heart of Moncton, is moving to the next phase of development following unanimous consent from city council on required zoning changes today.
The master plan includes a mixture of single-family homes, townhomes, mid-sized apartments and high-rise buildings, surrounded by green space, walking trails and gardens. Thoughtfully designed as a destination community where everything needed for daily living is within reach, Station Yards will feature boutique shops and services, offering downtown living without the commute.
Adjacent to the more than 60 acres of developing land is Shannex’s newest Lifestyle Community. Already located in this community are nursing homes Ocean Hall, Gordon Hall, and Garraway Hall, with plans for construction of a variety of independent, all-inclusive and supportive living options, so residents can make Station Yards their forever home.
For Station Yards residents looking for a bit more flair, Allbright Life Club Memberships offer a refreshing mix of health, social and hospitality services that are meant to impress. From indulgent culinary experiences to transformative wellness programs, Allbright has something for everyone.
Roads, water, storm and sewer lines have already been developed through an extension of Worthington Avenue and Cardigan Lane. There is also a new roundabout that will connect Station Yards to Mountain Road, next to the NBCC Moncton campus.
Construction of Station Yards properties will begin this fall. The next phase of development will include a call for bids from local developers who share the same vision for Station Yards, expected to take place this spring.
