FAQ
When will construction begin?
Station Yards received zoning approval from Moncton City Council in January. The next phase of development is working with local developers who share the same vision for Station Yards. We’re excited to bring this destination community to Moncton, and we hope to break ground in the fall of 2026.
How long will it take to complete?
Station Yards is a large master-planned community, with four distinct neighbourhoods planned for development. We’re anticipating the community to be completed within 10-15 years.
What type of housing units will be built?
Station Yards will bring a mixture of housing typologies across four distinct neighbourhoods, including single-family homes and townhomes and mid- and high-rise buildings. The plan consists of housing units under both ownership and rental housing models.

How will this affect traffic in the Moncton area?
Station Yards was designed to be a vibrant, walkable community with an emphasis on active living, where residents can find all the necessities required for daily living close to home.
The plan area includes a combination of new public and private roads, future road corridors and improvements to existing public roads.
Since work began on Station Yards, road, water, storm and sewer infrastructure has been developed through an extension of Worthington Ave and Cardigan Lane. In the eastern portion of the property, a new roundabout has already been developed, along with the necessary water and sewer infrastructure.
Once complete, Station Yards will connect through to Mountain Road via neighbouring properties at the Northwest Mall and NBCC’s Moncton Campus.
